Day 262 of 365…

Vancouver Symphony OrchestraHave you been to see our very own Vancouver Symphony Orchestra? If not this weekend is a great opportunity to do so. On Saturday November 6th and Sunday the 7th they will be performing Drama, Caprice and Tribute at the Skyview Concert Hall.

This concert brings together three different musical works, and two young international soloists. After a dramatic opener, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No.2, two pianists — Yukiko Akagi from Japan and Alex Alguacil of Spain — join The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra to play Poulenc’s capricious Concerto for Two Pianos.

Vancouver Symphony is in its 32nd season here in Vancouver and continues to strive to enhance our lives and culture by bringing us amazing music. In addition to this weekends performances you can see the entire Vancouver Symphony performance schedule here.
