Day 289 of 365…

Menchies Mill Plain Crossing Frozen Yogurt in Vancouver WAYesterday I happened to notice a new place to get a treat out in East Vancouver’s Columbia Tech Center and today seemed like a good day to definitely check it out. What’s the place? It’s Menchie’s Mill Plain Crossing Frozen Yogurt and they are great. I love the fact that you completely build what you want yourself.

The most unique frozen yogurt place in town! 40 cents an ounce gets you 12 flavors of constantly rotating yogurt, 40 snack toppings, 16 different varieties in our chill bar (fresh fruit!), and over 8 different kinds of sauces!

Mix, weigh, pay, yum!

Plus, they have taster cups so you can see if you like something before buying. I tried the Strawberry Shortcake frozen yogurt and the Green Apple Tart frozen yogurt. They each tasted just like the dish they are named after. I decided to go more traditional in my actual selection for the night. I got the chocolate yogurt and then put some peanut butter sauce over that. Then I added broken up Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and for a topper drizzled Marshmallow sauce over the top. It was excellent and the best thing is I got just the amount I wanted. Not too much, not too little, just the right amount…
