Day 236 of 365…

Camas Public LibraryIf you haven’t been to the Camas Public Library you really should stop in and spend some time there. This library is beautiful. Guess what else, they have tons of books and other media! I apparently need to spend more time at the library because I had no idea you could check out movies and audio books as well as all the normal forms of library materials. ;)

The interior of the Camas Public Library is just as cool as the exterior. They have a bunch of separate reading areas and browse in. They have a kids reading room too. In addition to all the interior reading areas they have a cool porch with rocking chairs that leads to a private patio where you can read in peace while enjoying the fresh air. As I mentioned, you really should go explore this place. The library has been serving the citizens of Camas and surrounding community since 1923!

and a Self Balancing Unicycle too!

While I was at the Camas Public Library I ran into my friend David Martschinske who happened to have with him the newest version 2.0 of Focus Designs SBU (Self Balancing Unicycle). Focus Designs is a local company you might want to keep an eye on. They’ve even been highlighted on MythBusters. I got to “play” on an SBU for a few minutes out in front of the Camas Library and David was kind enough to do some video recording of me. In addition he filmed my daily video of today’s highlighted thing to do. It’s amazing what a professional photographer can do in just a few short minutes. Thanks David!

Camas Public Library is located at 625 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, WA 98607 and can be reached at 360-834-4692. You can also connect to the Camas Public Library on Facebook.
