Day 256 of 365…

Tomorrow is Halloween and I thought I’d share a few things I’m familiar with around here for those who might be looking for a place to go.

New Heights North Fall Carnival Bash

From 12:30pm until 2pm kids between preschool and 5th grade can enjoy carnival games, photos and food! Admission is one bag of candy and please bring your friends. New Heights North requests friendly costumes. New Heights North is located at Battle Ground High School. The address is 300 W Main Street, Battle Ground, WA, 98604.

Halloween Jack O KittyHalloween Family Fun Night at Westfield Shoppingtown (aka Vancouver Mall)

This tradition has been happening at the mall for as long as I can remember. When my kids were little it was a nice, warm, dry alternative to let them wander around and get some goodies in a safe environment. Participating stores will be giving out treats between 4pm and 6pm. They request no painted faces, masks or toy weapons to be brought in. There will also be stations set up for the kids to do some crafting projects. Vancouver Mall is located at 8700 NE Vancouver Mall Drive, Vancouver, WA.

Fall Familyfest at Grace Church in Camas, WA.

Get ready for an amazing time with the whole family. Gospel Illusionist, Brian Drake will be performing his show, “Truth is not an Illusion,” there will be costume contest, a Trunk or Treat Candy Extravaganza and lots of free family fun.

There are two showings of the Illusionist. The first 45 minutes are set aside for our costume contest, trunk or treat and other fun. Family friendly costumes are encouraged for this all ages event. Fall Familyfest will be happening at 5pm AND 7pm. Grace is located at 717 SE Everett Road, Camas, WA 98607.

Zombie Alert!

Perhaps you’d like to spend your Halloween evening at the theater… Well Magenta Theater has just the event for you. The 50th…

Ashley Campbell was already having a bad day when zombies crashed her boss’ Halloween party. Now, as she races across town with the awestruck Shawn in order to save her grandmother, will she learn just how far a person will go for true love?

Fresh, innovative, quirky and fun, The 50th is a timely one-act spoof full of one-liners and slapstick action.

The 50th by Magenta Theater

You can buy tickets at the door for the October 31st, Halloween 7pm performance. Magenta Theater is located at 606 Main Street, Vancouver, WA 98660.
