Southwest Washington Wind Symphony in Vancouver WAThis Sunday, November 14th, 2010 is the annual fall SW Washington Wind Symphony FREE concert. This 55 member symphony is made up of 70% local music educators in our local schools. SW Washington Wind Symphony is in their sixth season. They perform three shows per year.

Join a salute to the American spirit, tradition, and history at the Southwest Washington Wind Symphony’s presentation of “American Portraits” on Sunday, November 14, at 3:00 pm at the Union High School auditorium. Musical selections include “Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland, “America the Beautiful” arranged by Carmen Dragon, and “Variations on America” by Charles Ives.

SW Washington Wind SymphonySW WA Wind performs free of charge so that there is no barrier keeping people from attending their shows and exposing themselves to new musical adventures. They are a 501(c)3 organization so donations can be made to help keep funding them.

Southwest Washington Wind Symphony performs at Union High School Auditorium which is located at 6201 NW Friberg-Strunk Street, Camas, WA.
