Looking for some old school Chinese comfort food? When I am, one of the places I go is Lucky Garden Restaurant on Mill Plain. This is not a fancy restaurant. It’s not expensive either. It’s just a simple place to fill your belly. They offer daily lunch specials for as low as $3.50.
One of my favorite dishes is the fried rice, pork chow mein and egg foo young. The gravy is thick, the noodles under the chow mein are crunchy and everything is hot. It’s just tasty.
If you find yourself in the mood for Chinese food that reminds you of being a kid in the 70’s or 80’s I’d suggest you stop in and give them a try.
