As a Realtor I show a ton of homes. These homes range from new construction to owned by your normal, everyday homeowner to investor owned to short sales and of course, the fun “bank owned” property. As you might imagine, the things I see while showing homes is sometimes quite incredible. Sometimes it’s a good incredible. Sometimes it’s just… “incredible”.

I’ll occasionally grab my phone while walking through a house and shoot a pic or two for fun. Today I snapped this photo and sent it out to Twitter. Yes, I am on Twitter. That may not be a surprise for many of you but some are just jumping on the Twitter bandwagon. I’ve been a happy member of that family since October of 2007. Yes, 2007! Anyway, back to the photo. I sent this pic out through TwitPic and asked the question: “Can anyone identify what’s wrong with this photo?”.

I got a ton of fun answers and thought I’d share them here. I hope you enjoy them too. Also, if you are on Twitter, this is a great list of people to check out. Tell em I said hi!

What's wrong with this photo?

Jasmine: The contractor…is what’s wrong with that picture

Heather Chavez: (Someone’s not the brightest bulb on the tree!)

Heather Elias: [you can’t make this stuff up, I swear. lol]

Jack Boardman: Is THAT what we are to you? MARKETING TOOLS? Very creative! ;-)

Lara Kulpa: They’re using the hood to catch spiders… yeah, that’s it!

Sarah Nopp: you mean how the venting part is ABOVE the cabinets? LOL that is a funny one. Did they not want to cut a hole to vent it?

James Shiner: Having done too much electric work non-GFCI was my first guess, then I saw it. I then realized …

Jack Boardman: Why is the vent hood on TOP of the cabinets?

Kristina Pratt: lol, that’s a great spot for the range hood!

Bruce Elgort: Exhaust fan is not located according to code.

Nick: That is SPECTACULAR!

Garron Selliken: dude thats a down draft vent for the stove. is all the rage in Europe

Holly: haha! what, you don’t think it will work that way? ;)

Ginger Wilcox: the color of those cabinets is all wrong! or maybe a small venting problem.
