Day 75 of 365…

Shooting some hoops at Bella Vista ParkWhile my son and I were out today we decided it would be nice to shoot some hoops for a bit. We were driving through Cascade Park and I thought, why not stop by Bella Vista Park and play some basketball, take a few pics and shoot a quick video of this great neighborhood park.

Having grown up in the Cascade Park neighborhood I remember when this park didn’t exist. It was open fields where we played and now it’s a beautiful 5+ acre park that everyone can enjoy even more. Bella Vista ParkThey have a great playground area for the kids, a full basketball court plus a little kid hoop as well. You’ll also find a nice paved walking path around the huge grassy open area. There are plenty of picnic tables all over the park too.

My son and I met Jim the self proclaimed “keeper of the park” and his yellow lab Molly. That girl loves to chase a tennis ball. :) He was a very friendly older gentlemen who was doing his part to keep things picked up.

If you’re in the Cascade Park area hopefully you already know about this great park. If not, I’d recommend you head over and discover it for yourself. It’s located on Bella Vista Road and SE 20th Avenue.
